All-dielectric self-supporting ADSS optical cable, provide a fast and economical transmission channel for power communication systems as its unique structure, good insulation, high temperature resistance and high tensile strength. Generally, In many applications, ADSS optical cable is cheaper than OPGW (Optical fiber composite Ground wh), and easy to install. It is advisable to use power lines or nearby towers to erect ADSS optical cables, and it is even necessary to use ADSS optical cables in some places.

AT and PE in adss optical cable refer to the sheath of the optical cable:

PE sheath: ordinary polyethylene sheath. Used for 10kV and 35kV power lines.

AT sheath: anti-tracking sheath. Used for 110kV and 220kV power lines.

The mainly uses of adss optical cable:

(1) Use it as the lead-in and lead-out optical cable of OPGW system relay station. Based on its safety properties, when lead-in and lead-out relay station, it can solve the problem of power isolation.

(2) Use it as the transmission cable of the optical fiber communication system in the high voltage (110kV-220kV) power network. Especially in many places, it is very convenient to use it when transforming old communication lines.

(3) Use it in the optical fiber communication system in the 6kV~35kV~180kV distribution network.
